Accessibility Statement

We want anyone who wants to book a photobooth to be able to book one. This page says where our website and our studio currently stand, including the parts that are not there yet.

What we are aiming for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not had the site independently audited against them, so we describe this as our target rather than as a certified result.

What the site does today

• Every form field has a visible, associated label, and both forms can be completed with a keyboard alone.
• Photographs carry alternative text describing what is in them.
• Buttons that show only an icon — the gallery arrows, the menu, the pop-up close — carry a text label for screen readers.
• If your system asks for reduced motion, we honour it. The opening animation, the parallax, the moving cursor, the gallery's auto-advance and smooth scrolling all switch off.
• Body text is set at 17px or larger and reflows down to small screens without a horizontal scroll.
• Text colours are drawn from a three-colour brand palette chosen for contrast against its background.

Where we know it falls short

• The gallery advances on its own every few seconds, and there is no pause button. It does stop while it is off screen, and it does not auto-advance at all if you have asked for reduced motion — but for everyone else there is no way to hold it still. This is the gap we are least happy about.
• The newsletter pop-up opens by itself a few seconds after the page loads. It can be closed with the keyboard, but it still interrupts whatever you were reading.
• The home page is one long page. There is no skip link to jump past the navigation.
• Nobody outside the company has audited any of this.

These are on our list. We would rather name them here than let you find them on your own.

Our studio

The studio is at 3816 Main St, Culver City, CA 90232. Tell us in advance what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we can accommodate it on the day — and if we cannot, we will say so before you travel.
